I love the response to the original post. Here are my thoughts: Hinata failing to kill all of the bad guys with all of her abilities makes her a terrible character. Hinata confessing her love to Naruto is pointless because he doesn’t love her back. Hinata doesn’t contribute to the story because she’s a secondary character. Get real. Why would Kishimoto-sensei take a lot of time to develop Hinata even though she’s a “secondary character”? She will obviously become important in the future to Naruto. We haven’t seen it yet, but I know that Kishimoto-sensei is planning something huge for her. Hinata is also the only person who has ever accepted Naruto from day one aside from Iruka and Kakashi (she is also the only girl to do so). She is also strong enough to grow up from being shy and abused and pressured to a strong, confident, girl to the point that she’s willing to die for the person whom she loves. Not many people have that kind of strength. P.S. Sakura is only a spoiled brat who has been sheltered all of her life and thinks that her desires should come first before anyone else’s.
